Right of withdrawal and complaints

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Your consumer rights when buying the BecomeTen digital service at a distance.

14-day right of withdrawal

For distance contracts, as a consumer you generally have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason.

Digital-content exception

BecomeTen delivers digital content immediately after payment. At checkout you explicitly tick consent to performance beginning before the 14-day period ends and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Slovak Act No. 108/2024, § 19(1)(l)). We record this consent and confirm it in your order-confirmation email.

For a BecomeTen PRO subscription the consent covers the first period; you can cancel at any time effective at the end of the paid period.

Without this consent we do not start the payment and do not unlock the content.

How to withdraw

If your right of withdrawal still applies (e.g. before the content is made available), write to hello@becometen.com. A clear statement of withdrawal is enough.

Refunds

We refund without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days, using the same means as your payment (via Stripe), unless agreed otherwise.

Complaints

If the service does not work as it should (for example the rating is not generated, the image is not created, or access to paid content fails), contact hello@becometen.com. We are liable for defects in digital content under the Slovak Civil Code; we first re-run the scan or fix the fault, and refund if that is not possible.

We confirm a complaint by email and resolve it within 30 days of receipt at the latest.

The rating is an AI estimate — disliking your score, or its differing from another rating, is not a defect.
