How the two differ
The difference is who does the judging. On Photofeeler, people do. You upload a photo, pick a category, and other users vote on three traits for that category: smart, trustworthy and attractive for dating; confident, authentic and fun for social; competent, likable and influential for business. The help page explains that scores run 1–10, that a 5 is average against photos typically found on Tinder, LinkedIn or Facebook for the subject's gender and age, and that each vote is adjusted for how that voter tends to vote. A confidence range shrinks as votes come in. Poor-quality votes are thrown out.
On BecomeTen, a model does. One photo is graded for light, angle and sharpness, then scored against a fixed rubric with five weighted areas, and the result is a 0–100 score, one of eight tiers and a PSL equivalent, in about a minute, free, with no account. The full report is €6.99 once and adds 30+ traits as directional bands, a non-surgical potential capped per area, and a plan whose every step carries an evidence level and cites only a curated PubMed-verified library.
The two answer different questions. Photofeeler measures the impression a specific photo makes on strangers, which is what a dating profile or a LinkedIn headshot actually needs. It is a photo test, and its own pages frame it that way. BecomeTen estimates the face in the photo against a stated reference and tells you which areas are workable. Who each is for
Photofeeler is for someone choosing between photos for a profile, a résumé or a company page, who wants human opinion rather than a model, and who is willing to either vote on others' photos to earn votes or pay for credits. The credit packs are listed plainly: 40 for $9, 100 for $19, 250 for $39, 650 for $79, one credit per vote, split across tests however you like. The terms say credits may expire after a year but also say they have never expired one. It is over 13, and a photo is visible to other users while its test runs.
BecomeTen is for an adult who wants a calibrated number about the face rather than a verdict about a photo's vibe, and wants the advice to be checkable. An average, healthy, groomed person lands around 50–60; above 80 is reserved for striking structure. Weak points are tagged workable or structural, and potential is capped in code at harmony +6, eye area +10, jaw and chin +14, skin +25, hair +20. What the number means
A Photofeeler 7 on attractive means that, after adjusting for how each voter votes, this photo landed above the typical profile photo for someone of the same gender and age. It is a relative, social number, and it moves with the photo: a better-lit shot of the same face can score higher without the face changing at all. The help page is honest about that and about the confidence range around every score. It is also three numbers, not one; a photo can be high on trustworthy and middling on attractive.
A BecomeTen 62 means the model placed this face in the upper half of a fixed scale where an average, healthy, groomed adult sits around 50–60. It is not a percentile of other users and there is no leaderboard. It is still an estimate from one photo, which is why BecomeTen grades the photo first and shows a difference within two points as noise. Neither number is a measurement of bone or tissue. Photofeeler does not claim one. BecomeTen refuses one, reporting structural traits only as directional bands because a selfie cannot support degrees or millimetres. Do not compare a Photofeeler score with a BecomeTen score; they are answers to different questions.
Photo and privacy
The nature of Photofeeler means your photo must be shown to other people. Its FAQ says that when you start a test, other Photofeeler users can see the photo, and once the test is done it becomes private again; you decide when it is visible, to whom, and for how long. The privacy policy says votes and comments are retained as a core function and that deleting your account permanently deletes your personal data; individual photos can be deleted through the Help Center. The terms grant Photofeeler a perpetual, worldwide licence to use uploaded content for research and product development, including training machine-learning models. The operator is Photofeeler Inc.
On a BecomeTen free scan the photo is processed for the rating and deleted straight after; only the text analysis remains, and no other user ever sees it. A paid scan is stored encrypted in the EU until you delete it or your account. No model is trained on your photos. The seller is Appinara s. r. o. in Slovakia, with public terms, refunds and a privacy policy. If having strangers see the photo is a problem, that is the structural difference between a vote-based test and a model-based one.
Questions
Is Photofeeler free without buying credits?
Yes, through Karma. Its help page says you earn Karma by voting on other people's photos, and the more you earn the more votes you can expect on your own Karma test. Credits are the paid route: 1 credit equals 1 vote, tests using credits get votes faster and a guaranteed number of votes. BecomeTen's score is free without voting or an account, one scan per device per day.
Are human votes more accurate than an AI face rating?
They answer a different question. Votes measure how one photo strikes a sample of strangers, adjusted for each voter's habits, and Photofeeler shows a confidence range for that. An AI rating estimates the face against a fixed rubric and repeats the same rubric every time. Both move with lighting and angle, and neither measures bone. Use votes to pick a photo; use a calibrated rater to track a face.
Do other people see my photo on Photofeeler?
Yes, while a test is running; the FAQ says other users can see the photo during the test and that it becomes private again once the test ends. You choose when it is visible and can delete it afterwards. On BecomeTen no other user ever sees the photo, a free-scan photo is deleted right after scoring, and a paid one is stored encrypted until you delete it.

They are different references, so the two numbers do not convert.
