Looksmaxxing tiers
BecomeTen sorts every 0–100 score into one of eight tiers: Baseline, Developing, Below average, Normie, Above average, High tier, Elite and Apex. An average, healthy, groomed person lands at 50–60, inside Normie. The names are deliberately neutral; the community's own ladder of insults is not used anywhere in the product.

What are the eight tiers?

The bands are fixed on BecomeTen's own scale. They do not move with other users' scores, because BecomeTen does not compare users to each other and runs no leaderboard.
Why are the tier names neutral?
The looksmaxxing community has its own ladder, and most of its lower rungs are insults aimed at the person being rated. Shipping that ladder would mean an app that demeans a paying user at their most self-conscious moment, so BecomeTen does not use it. The PSL scale is shown as an equivalent for the same reason: the shared sense of where 4 and 6 sit is useful, the vocabulary around it is not.
Where does an average person land?
At 50–60, inside Normie. The calibration is deliberately strict: a rater that puts everyone above average is telling you nothing. Above 80 is reserved for structure most people would call striking. What does potential add on top?
Potential is a second number: the ceiling reachable without surgery. It is built per area with hard caps, harmony +6, eye area +10, jaw and chin +14, skin +25, hair +20, then rolled into the overall through the same weights as the score. Because harmony carries the most weight and moves the least, the overall ceiling works out to roughly a tier's width at most, and only when every area is at its cap.
So a tier reads: this is where the photo sits today, and the potential says which rung is within reach through softmaxxing. Anything beyond needs hardmaxxing, which BecomeTen does not recommend or score.
Questions
Is Normie a bad tier?
No. It is the tier most people occupy, where an average, groomed person is expected to land. The name is a plain word for ordinary, chosen instead of the community's insults. The useful question inside Normie is not the label but the gap: how many of the missing points are workable, and which area holds them.
Can a re-scan move me down a tier?
Yes. On a re-scan the model sees both photos side by side and may only report visible differences; unchanged and regressed are first-class answers, and inventing progress is forbidden. Differences within two points are shown as noise. A drop across a tier boundary usually means the photo changed, and the capture grade says so.
What is the percentile shown next to the tier?
Where the score sits on BecomeTen's own scale, assuming the scale is centred on its average of 50. It is not a percentile of users; BecomeTen keeps no ranking of people and would not publish one. The same score always reports the same percentile, so it is a fixed reading of the scale rather than a comparison to anybody.
