Can ChatGPT rate my face?
Yes, a general chat model will usually rate a face photo if you ask, and it can describe features sensibly. The number is the weak part: it is not tied to a fixed scale, it tends to be generous and middling, it moves with how you word the prompt, and sometimes the model declines to give one at all.
How the parts of a face relate to one another.
Explore proportionsWhat a chatbot does well, and what it does not
A multimodal chat model can look at a photo and say useful things in words: that the lighting is harsh, that the hair covers the forehead, that the skin looks uneven, that the face reads rested or tired. That description is often the most valuable part of the answer, and it costs nothing.
The score is different. A general assistant has no rubric that it applies the same way each time, no stated average and no record of the last face it rated. It is built to be helpful and agreeable, so its numbers tend to cluster in a polite band, and as a general tendency they drift upwards. Ask again in a new chat, change one word of the prompt or crop the photo differently, and the number can change while the face has not. That is the subject of does ChatGPT rate everyone an 8.
It may also decline. Rating a person's appearance is a request many assistants handle cautiously, so the answer can be a refusal, a disclaimer or a number wrapped in so many caveats that it says little.
What a purpose-built rater does differently
A rater made for the job puts the model inside a fixed frame. BecomeTen uses a vision model too, but it calls it with one rubric, one scale and one stated calibration every time: an average, healthy, groomed adult lands between 50 and 60 out of 100. The photo is graded for light, angle and sharpness before it is scored, every trait comes back as a band rather than a fake measurement, and each one is tagged workable or structural. That does not make the number objective; there is no ground truth for attractiveness. It makes the number consistent, so two scans on the same scale can be compared.
- Same scale each time. The average is stated, so a 55 means the same thing today and next month.
- Photo graded first. A poor capture is flagged rather than quietly scored low or high.
- Structure separated from the workable. Bone is labelled as bone; skin, hair and grooming are where the plan points.

If you still want to ask a chatbot
Use it for the words, not the number. Ask what in the photo helps and what hurts, and treat any score as a rough mood rather than a position on a scale. How to ask ChatGPT to rate your looks covers the prompt and the photo. For a number you can track, the AI face rating explains the scale, and is an AI face rating accurate covers what any rater, this one included, can and cannot know from one photo.
