How the two differ
MOGGED speaks the forum's language on purpose. Its home page frames the face as a game you can win, its tools return the community's PSL tier labels with ranges printed next to them, and the tools page includes a celebrity comparison, a tier-list maker for ranking up to eight photos and a potential-ceiling test. Every browser tool is free with no sign-up. The phone app, from Metellus Productions LLC, adds daily tasks, streaks and reminders, and its App Store description says a subscription is required for the AI scans, personalised task plans and progress tracking.
BecomeTen uses the same PSL ladder as a translation, not a product. One photo returns a 0–100 score, one of eight tiers with neutral names, and a PSL equivalent so you can read the estimate in the units forums use; how that mapping works is on the PSL score page. The full report is €6.99 once and adds 30+ traits as directional bands, a non-surgical potential capped per area, and a plan whose every step carries an evidence level and cites only a curated PubMed-verified library. No leaderboard, no celebrity match, no tier list of your friends.
On free tools the two are closer than the framing suggests. BecomeTen's browser tools cover face shape, symmetry, golden ratio, canthal tilt, hunter eyes, jawline, facial ratios, eye shape and pupillary distance, all free and without an account, which overlaps most of MOGGED's list. The difference is what each tool is willing to print: MOGGED's canthal tilt tool reports an angle in degrees, and BecomeTen's reports a direction and a band because one photo cannot support more.
Who each is for
MOGGED is for someone already fluent in looksmaxxing forums who wants those exact labels applied to their own photo, free, in seconds, and who may want a gamified daily routine in an app. Its own pages are open about the model: free browser tools, subscription app. Its score anchors, whether its advice cites research, and whether face data is used for training are not stated on their site, so this page does not guess at them.
BecomeTen is for an adult who wants the number to mean something fixed. The calibration is strict and published: an average, healthy, groomed person lands around 50–60, above 80 is reserved for striking structure, and the score is not adjusted for ethnicity or gender. Weak points are tagged workable or structural, potential is capped in code at harmony +6, eye area +10, jaw and chin +14, skin +25, hair +20, and the eight tiers have neutral names because a demeaning label does not help anyone change anything. What the number means
MOGGED gives you several numbers at once: a tier label, a 1–10 PSL score, and 0–100 sub-scores for attractiveness, hunter eyes, jawline and golden ratio. Its home page prints ranges next to the tier labels, which is more than most apps state. What it does not state is where an ordinary face lands, so a 0–100 attractiveness score from MOGGED and one from BecomeTen are not the same number even when the digits match. The PSL ladder itself is a forum convention with no published rubric, which is why two raters give the same face different PSLs, a topic covered in why PSL ratings vary.
BecomeTen's score is one estimate against one reference. The photo is graded for light, angle and sharpness first, then scored on five weighted areas, and a difference within two points between scans is shown as noise. The PSL equivalent is derived from that score by a fixed mapping, so it moves only when the score moves. A tier change with a small score change is a threshold effect, not a real change, and the looksmaxxing tiers entry explains the bands.
Then there is the question of what any of these numbers can change. MOGGED's glow-up potential and ceiling tools return a potential figure; how it is capped is not stated on their site. BecomeTen's potential is capped in code and applies only to what is workable without surgery. The traits forums care most about, orbital structure, jaw angle and midface length, are structural, and no routine, tongue posture or exercise moves them in an adult.
Photo and privacy
MOGGED's home page says facial data is processed securely, never sold, and can be deleted instantly at any time. Its privacy policy says face data is retained as long as you maintain an active account, that you can delete all stored facial data from the app settings, that deletion is automatic when you delete the account, and that depth-camera data and the 3D mesh stay on the device. The policy does not address whether face data is used to train models. The App Store description says scans and data stay on your device. On age, the terms say at least 16, the policy says they do not knowingly collect data from under-18s, and the US App Store rating is 4+.
On a BecomeTen free scan the photo is processed for the rating and deleted straight after; only the text analysis remains. A paid scan is stored encrypted in the EU until you delete it or your account. No model is trained on your photos, and BecomeTen is 18+ by policy with no exceptions. The seller is Appinara s. r. o. in Slovakia, with public terms, refunds and a privacy policy.

No. MOGGED's PSL score is produced directly by its tool on a 1–10 scale, alongside forum tier labels. BecomeTen's PSL equivalent is derived by a fixed mapping from its 0–100 score, which is anchored so an average, healthy, groomed adult lands around 50–60. Two PSLs from two tools do not convert, any more than two forum raters agree.
Does Mogged keep face data after a scan?
Its policy says face data is retained while your account is active and deleted on request or when the account is deleted; depth-camera data stays on the device. Whether face data is used for training is not addressed on their pages. BecomeTen deletes a free-scan photo right after scoring and never trains on any photo.
Why does BecomeTen not print a hunter eyes score like Mogged?
Because hunter eyes is a forum bundle, not a measurable trait: brow position, lid exposure, orbital depth and eye axis. BecomeTen reports the eye area as directional bands and offers a free hunter eyes browser tool that gives a directional read and explains the limits, rather than a 0–100 figure that implies a precision one photo cannot support.
