Siren eyes test
Siren eyes are elongated eyes with an upward tilt at the outer corner, the opposite of round, open doe eyes. This test reads the tilt, the length of the eye against its height and the brow position from one photo, in your browser, and says whether your eyes read siren, doe or another type, with the numbers behind it.

What are siren eyes?
Siren eyes are long and lifted: the eye is wider than it is open, and the outer corner sits higher than the inner one, so the gaze looks drawn out and a little mysterious. The name spread through social media as the counterpart to doe eyes, which are round, open and level. As a makeup look, siren eyes use liner and shadow pulled outward and upward; as a natural trait, they are an elongated eye with a positive canthal tilt.
Siren sits between almond and fox. Almond has the same shape with less lift; fox has more lift and a narrower opening, often under a lower brow. The test separates them by reading each trait against real frontal photos rather than by eye.
| Trait | Siren eyes | Doe eyes |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Elongated, wider than tall | Round, open, white visible |
| Tilt | Upward at the outer corner | A little less lift than average |
| Brow | Average height | Often slightly high |
| Impression | Mysterious, sultry | Innocent, youthful |
How to tell if you have siren eyes
The quick check is a horizontal line through the middle of the eye. If the outer corner sits clearly above the line and the eye looks long rather than round, you have the siren pattern. If the corners sit on the line and the eye looks round and open, you are closer to doe. Most people are in between, which is why the test names a runner-up.
From a photo, the test measures the same things with a face mesh on your device: the angle from inner to outer corner, the height of the opening against its width, and the gap from lid to brow. It compares each with typical values from real frontal photos and names the closest of six types: almond, fox, siren, doe, hunter or prey.
Photo rules for an honest result
- Bare eyes. Siren makeup exists to create the siren shape; test without it.
- Neutral expression. A smile narrows the eye into a siren look; surprise opens it into doe.
- Eye-level camera. A high camera makes every eye rounder and more upturned; a low one turns the corners down.
- Even light, no glasses. Shadows at the corners move where the mesh places them.
Are siren eyes more attractive than doe eyes?
Neither wins in the research. Attractiveness studies support averageness, symmetry and skin; eye types are fashion. A slightly positive tilt is typical and reads well, which is part of why siren eyes photograph well, but doe eyes read youthful and open, which is attractive too. The trend war is about makeup, not about which eye is better.
The eye shape itself is structural: the orbit and the ligaments at the corners set it, and BecomeTen does not recommend surgery. Makeup, brow shaping and lashes change how it reads, and that is how both looks are made on camera.
Questions
Can you have siren eyes naturally?
Yes. Natural siren eyes are an elongated eye with an upward tilt at the outer corner, a combination many people have. The makeup look exaggerates it with liner and shadow pulled outward. The test reads your bare eyes, so a siren result means the shape is already there without makeup.
What is the difference between siren eyes and fox eyes?
Degree. Both are elongated and lifted, but fox eyes have a stronger tilt and a narrower opening, often under a slightly lower brow. Siren eyes are lifted but otherwise close to almond. The test measures the tilt and the opening separately and names whichever pattern your eyes sit nearer to.
Can I have both siren and doe eyes?
Not at once, because they sit at opposite ends of the same traits, but you can sit between them. A round opening with a slight upward tilt is exactly that middle, and the test will name the nearer type with the other as runner-up. Makeup can push the same eye either way.
